Contracting to BP Bitumen through Lanskey Construction, TIC were heavily involved in the construction of the new BBU facility located on Bulwer Island, Brisbane. The project was completed within a tight time frame and involved the insulation and alloy cladding of over three kilometres of various sized bitumen and hot oil service piping, valves, vessels and associated components.

Located within the busy Port of Townsville is the second major part of the BP Blackport Project. Thermal Insulation Contracting supplied and installed insulation systems to more than 4500 lineal metres of bitumen, hot oil, process lines, valving, and associated components including a 600 metre wharf feed line. The project was completed delivered on time and remains a great looking facility.
